The National Eucharistic Pilgrimage is coming through Chattanooga! Please join us at the Basilica of Sts. Peter & Paul on June 24th beginning at 10:00am for a tour of the church, followed by Holy Hour and then Mass with the pilgrims who are walking with the monstrance all the way to Indianapolis for the National Congress in July. Following Mass at the Basilica, we are hosting a lunch at 1:45pm here in the large hall to include a presentation by Deacon Gary about the Eucharistic Congress, so we need a headcount.
Please let us know if you will be joining us by registering with the link below or filling out a registration slip available in the vestibule following masses.
In line with the National Eucharistic Revival and National Eucharistic Congress, the United States is home to the first ever National Eucharistic Pilgrimage.
Jesus and thousands of his pilgrams will travel four different routes across the US and will meet in Indianapolis on July 16 to attend the National Eucharistic Congress from July 17–July 21, 2024.
The four routes begin with kickoff events during the weekend of Pentecost, which is May 17–May 19, 2024. Each route will walk with Jesus across the country for approximately two months.

Most excitingly, one of these four routes, the St. Juan Diego route, will come right through our town of Chattanooga on June 24, 2024!
The southern arm of the Pilgrimage will depart from the tip of Texas in Brownsville, wind around the Gulf of Mexico—an area chosen for its deep Catholic roots—and pass through the southeastern region of the United States on its way to Indianapolis for the 10th National Eucharistic Congress.
Will you accompany Jesus on the road? Pilgrims will attend Mass every day and have numerous opportunities for healing and encounter with God’s mercy. Join us in following Christ through the streets, proclaiming his love and mercy through the greatest gift humanity has ever received: the Holy Eucharist.
